The TIDRC Continuing Student program has been created for participants who are likely to be taking multiple online classes from TIDRC over the next 365 days.
Program Description
Continuing Students usually pay one annual registration fee of $150. This allows them to take any available TIDRC online class without paying an additional per-class fee. But between now and February 28th, you can register as a new Continuing Student or extend your current subscription for one year for just $100.
Continuing Students may select from the list of current online classes and those that we develop over the next 365 days. Since TIDRC will be moving more of its class delivery to this format, we'll be developing additional classes during 2017 and beyond. Other than the fees, all other aspects of the online classes remain the same: Register; Read the material; Pass the class test; Certify that you did the work; Receive your Certificate of Completion.
Continuing Education Credits
TIDRC online classes are of varying length (1, 3, or 6 continuing education credits), and all are approved by the Department of State Health Services for code enforcement officers and registered sanitarians. Many certified peace officers take classes from TIDRC too. If you want to receive T.C.O.L.E. credit for taking this class (class 3880 - Environmental Protection), verify with your Training Officer or Chief that your police agency will grant credits and directly update your T.C.O.L.E. training records, as it does in the case of a FEMA online class.
Volume Discounts
Usually we give volume discounts, but these are suspended for this program: One officer or an office-full -- $100 each until the February deal is over.
Steps in Registration
Just follow the three simple steps below to complete registration as a TIDRC Continuing Student. After that, when you register for a specific class, just select the "Continuing Student" option when the payment step appears. You may pay by credit card through PayPal or by sending a check for $100 the address shown below in Step 2. If you need to register a group of officers at the same time to take advantage of lower rates, this is it!
